Foundation-Held, License-Back

The IP is stewarded by the Foundation (societyos.org, to be incorporated in Switzerland) and licensed back to the operating company. That separation protects the estate from operating-company risk and keeps the standard neutral — a structure investors and judges recognise from mature IP holdcos.

Standard-essential IP is valued on the licensing revenue it can command across the market it gates — not on the count of filings. Qualcomm’s baseband portfolio underwrites a licensing business worth tens of billions on a fraction of the patents held by defensive giants. The thesis here is the same: an estate positioned at the compliance chokepoint of agentic AI has a defensible basis for a $1B+ valuation and is built to protect $1B+ in addressable licensing value as autonomous AI adoption compounds.
